Notes[]
Unlike vanilla Neverwinter Nights, Charm Person is of the Illusion school of magic in The Easting Reach, not Enchantment.
The improvement to reputation with a merchant will primarily improve the purchase price of goods by maximising the character's bonus from Charisma, as such this spell has very little or even no benefit for characters with a low Charisma score. Whilst Appraise plays a minor role in the price received, it is also rolled once per merchant (per server reset), or when the character's Appraise skill improves. In order to benefit from this spell the character will have to cast Charm Person prior to interacting with the merchant.
