Type of Feat: Class
Prerequisite: Wizard or sorcerer level 1.
Specifics: A character with this feat may summon a familiar once per day. If the familiar dies, the character suffers 1d6 damage, but may summon the familiar again after 12 hours have passed. This damage does not reduce the character below 1 HP.
While a familiar is present, the character gains a +2 bonus to the familiar's main Skill and a +1 bonus to their Caster Level.
Familiars can be renamed through the Craft menu conversation.

When killed it takes half a day (12 hours in real life) before another familiar may be summoned again.
