Sense Motive
Sense Motive

The Sense Motive skill is the ability to read other people. This allows the character to determine whether someone is trustworthy or when something odd is going on, such as when they are bluffing or under the effects of an enchantment. The skill is also used to detect impostors or discern when someone is transmitting a secret message.

Check: An opposed roll against a creature's Bluff skill.

Special: Paladins use this skill with their Detect Evil ability.

Use: Selected.
